A Lunar Eclipse
One of nature's rare and beautiful events - a total lunar eclipse - is happening tonight! Californians are perfectly positioned: the eclipse begins at 5:43 pm, becomestotal from 7:01-7:51 pm, and the moon returns to full at 9:09 pm. Don't worry...unlike solar eclipses, where eye damage can result from looking at the sun, lunar eclipses pose no such risk.
